선한 마일 Miles of Good
The Miles of Good campaign is organised by Singapore Airlines Limited. The aim of the Campaign is to raise a total of 100 million KrisFlyer miles for eligible everyday essential workers, of which Singapore Airlines will contribute 30 million KrisFlyer miles and KrisFlyer members will contribute 70 million KrisFlyer miles, to thank the efforts and contributions of these essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please refer to the Campaign Terms and Conditions for further information.
Everyday essential heroes include healthcare workers, public transport workers, supermarket employees, cleaners and food delivery, courier and postal services personnel.
You can only nominate an Everyday Essential Hero who is currently employed in the same country / territory as your country / territory of residence as registered in your KrisFlyer profile. Nomination of Everyday Essential Heroes outside of your country / territory of residence will be disqualified.
You can donate your miles without making a nomination.
The provision of an email address will enable Singapore Airlines to reach out to the nominees efficiently, and serves as a form of verification of the nominee’s employment. We apologise that we are not able to contact nominated individuals via other channels.
Yes, the nominees must be a KrisFlyer member in order for the miles to be credited to their accounts. Membership is free and nominated individuals can sign up as a KrisFlyer member here. SIA may also reach out to the nominated individuals via email for these individuals to create a KrisFlyer membership account by a specified date.
Singapore Airlines will contact the eligible nominated individuals via the email address provided by KrisFlyer members to inform these individuals that they have been nominated to receive a gift of KrisFlyer miles from a KrisFlyer member. Nominees will be required to submit their details, which includes their KrisFlyer membership number and a short entry about their experience working as an essential service worker during Covid-19, for Singapore Airlines to credit the miles to their KrisFlyer accounts after the donation period has closed.
An individual who has been selected by Singapore Airlines will each only be credited with a gift of up to 60,000 KrisFlyer miles once, regardless of the total number of nominations he or she has received.
The miles can only be credited to the nominee’s KrisFlyer account.
The donated miles will be credited to eligible nominees’ KrisFlyer accounts at the end of the campaign period.
The miles can then be used to redeem for flights on Singapore Airlines, Scoot or on other KrisFlyer partner airlines. The miles can also be redeemed for hotel stays and car rentals (via KrisFlyervRooms), shopping items (via KrisShop.com) or retail shopping/dining/wellness and grooming services (via KrisPay).
The KrisFlyer miles donated by KrisFlyer members in each country / territory will be pooled together at a country / territory level to form a Country / Territory Pool, so that the KrisFlyer miles donated will only be credited to eligible nominees residing in the same country / territory as the donor KrisFlyer members.
For the avoidance of doubt, all donations made by KrisFlyer members will go into specific Country / Territory Pools, before the KrisFlyer miles are distributed to the eligible nominees in the relevant country / territory. At no point will any donation made by a KrisFlyer member be directly transferred to any nominee(s) nominated by that relevant KrisFlyer member.
Multiple donation transactions are allowed. Simply click here to make another donation.
All donated miles will be credited to the respective nominees’ accounts and will be valid for three years from the time of crediting. Any excess miles that remain will be donated to a charity selected by Singapore Airlines in accordance with the Campaign Terms and Conditions.
As the donation of miles does not fall under any of the donation schemes as specified by the Inland Revenue of Singapore (IRAS), it currently does not qualify for tax deductions in Singapore. For members residing outside of Singapore, please check with the relevant authorities in your country.
