Earn Status Credits without Flying – For PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite members

 

The Covid-19 pandemic has severely affected travel demand. As it remains unclear when global air travel restrictions will ease, we have introduced the following initiatives to offer members additional ways to earn PPS Value (for PPS Club members) or Elite miles (for KrisFlyer Elite members) that will count toward membership renewal that are due from March 2021 through to February 2022.

  1. When is the ‘Earn Status Credits without Flying’ campaign period?

    All non-air spend and activities must be completed by 15 October 2020 2359 hours (GMT+8) in order to qualify to earn PPS Value or Elite miles.
  2. Is there a maximum amount of PPS Value / Elite miles I can accrue from this campaign?

    The maximum PPS Value (for PPS Club members) or Elite Miles (for KrisFlyer Elite members) using any or a combination of the campaign’s non-air spend or points conversion options available are:

    This campaign aims to assist KrisFlyer Elite and PPS Club members to renew their current membership tier for another year. KrisFlyer Elite members will only be able to earn Elite miles through this campaign to renew in their current tier.
  5. I am a PPS Club member, can I earn Elite miles through this campaign?

    PPS Club members will only be able to earn PPS Value through this campaign to renew in their current tier.

 

 

Bank Conversion


  1. How do I qualify for this campaign through my bank points conversions to KrisFlyer miles and/or KrisPay miles during the campaign period?

    Simply convert your bank points to KrisFlyer miles and/or KrisPay miles during the promotion period. You will earn PPS Value (for PPS Club members) or Elite miles (for Elite members) for every minimum block of 50,000 KrisFlyer miles and/or KrisPay miles successfully converted during the campaign.
  2. Which are the participating banks?

    You can convert your reward points to KrisFlyer miles from all our bank partners. Click here to view our list of global bank partners.

  3. Can I convert my bank points to KrisPay miles to qualify for this campaign?

    Yes, PPS Value (for PPS Club members) or Elite miles (for KrisFlyer Elite members) can be earned via bank point conversions to KrisPay miles.
  4. I am not based in Singapore. Can I convert my bank points to KrisPay miles too?

    Yes, if you hold a bank account with one of the participating banks in Singapore where you can convert bank points to KrisPay miles. However, members will only be able to redeem KrisPay miles from the KrisPay app via our partner outlets in Singapore.
  5. Will I be able to combine multiple bank partner points conversion to make up blocks of 50,000 KrisFlyer miles to qualify for this campaign?

    The conversion of points to KrisFlyer miles via multiple bank partners can be combined cumulatively.
  6. Do I have to convert all my KrisFlyer miles in the same transaction to qualify?

    No, you can convert them in different transactions, as long as you successfully converted at least 50,000 KrisFlyer miles by the end of the campaign period.
  7. I converted 120,000 KrisFlyer miles. What is the number of Elite miles or PPS Value I will get?

    Members will be awarded 2,000 PPS Value (for PPS Club members) or 4,000 Elite miles (for KrisFlyer Elite members) for every 50,000 KrisFlyer miles successfully converted.

    In this case, you will receive 4,000 PPS Value as a PPS Club member or 8,000 Elite miles as a KrisFlyer Elite member.
  8. Will I earn PPS Value or Elite miles if I convert my bank points to 20,000 KrisFlyer miles and 30,000 KrisPay miles?

    Yes, the conversion of your bank reward points to a combination of KrisFlyer miles and KrisPay miles will qualify for this campaign, as long as you convert a minimum of 50,000 miles in total.
  9. I have put in my conversion request with my bank on 15 October 2020. Will I qualify to earn the PPS Value / Elite miles from this campaign?

    Conversion must be successfully completed by 15 October 2020 2359 hours (GMT+8) in order to qualify.
  10. Do I qualify when I use my KrisFlyer co-brand debit/credit cards?

    KrisFlyer co-brand credit or debit cards spend will not be eligible for the bank points conversion option but can be used to earn PPS Value or Elite miles for spends on KrisShop or KrisPay.

 

 

KrisShop


  1. How do I qualify for this campaign through my transactions at KrisShop during the campaign period?

    During the qualifying period, you can:
    • Make purchases that are paid for with your credit/debit card on KrisShop
    • Redeem items using KrisFlyer miles
  2. I bought an item via mail order using my PPS Club Gift Voucher and paid the remaining via credit/debit card. Does my credit/debit card spend qualify for this campaign?

    Yes, PPS Value (for PPS Club members) can be earned on the nett amount paid with a credit or debit card. This nett amount refers to the final value after excluding any delivery charges, prevailing taxes, customs/import duties and postal clearance.
  3. I bought an item via inflight sales using my PPS Club Gift Voucher and cash or credit/debit card. Will the amount paid for with my cash or credit/debit card spend qualify to earn PPS Value?

KrisPay

  1. How do earn PPS Value or Elite miles via KrisPay during the campaign period?

    During the qualifying period, you can:
    • Top up your KrisPay wallet using KrisFlyer miles or convert your bank partner points to KrisPay miles via the KrisPay app
    • Spend with our KrisPay partners and pay for your spend with cash or any credit/debit card where KrisPay miles are earned.

    Redemption of KrisPay miles from your KrisPay wallet at our partner outlets will not be eligible to earn PPS Value or Elite miles.
  2. I made a purchase from a KrisPay partner with my credit/debit card but decided to refund it later after 15 October 2020. Will my transaction still qualify?

    Any refunds made, whether during or after the campaign period, will also reverse the PPS Value/Elite miles originally credited from the purchase.

  1. Is there a limit on the Elite miles I can earn from this campaign?

    You can earn up to a maximum of 20,000 Elite miles for Elite Gold members and 10,000 Elite miles for Elite Silver members through non-air spend and activities, namely through KrisShop, KrisPay and conversion of bank partner reward points during the campaign period.
  2. When will the Elite miles earned from the campaign be credited into my account?

    For members whose Elite membership have already been renewed under Singapore Airlines’ 1-year automatic status renewal scheme from March 2020 through to February 2021

  4. The maximum Elite miles that can be accrued from the Membership Renewal Support Scheme and the ‘Earn Status Credit without Flying’ campaign is still insufficient to renew my membership. Will there be other initiatives introduced where I can earn Elite miles besides from flights?

    Singapore Airlines will review the situation closely and consider other measures to earn Elite miles and support members’ renewal at an appropriate time if required.

Earn Status Credits without Flying Campaign Full Terms & Conditions

 
  1. These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the KrisFlyer Earn Status Credits without Flying Campaign ("Campaign"), organised by Singapore Airlines Limited ("SIA"), enabling PPS Club Members to earn PPS Value ("PPS Value") and Elite Silver and Elite Gold members to earn Elite Miles ("Elite Miles") when they fulfill the stated mechanics of the Campaign.
  2. This Campaign is open to all KrisFlyer members in the Solitaire PPS Club, PPS Club, Elite Gold and Elite Silver tiers as of 1 September 2020.
  3. This Campaign commences on 1 September 2020, 0000hrs (GMT+8) and ends on 15 October 2020, 2359hrs (GMT+8) ("Campaign Period").
  4. A PPS Club member or Elite Member will receive PPS Value or Elite Miles respectively if the following conditions are met:

  5. The total PPS Value accruable by each Solitaire PPS Club Member (qualified on or after 1 June 2018) under this Campaign is subject to a cap of 25,000 in PPS Value. The total PPS Value accruable by each Solitaire PPS Club Member (qualified before 1 June 2018) is subject to a cap of 12,500 in PPS Value.
  6. The total PPS Value accruable by each PPS Club Member under this Campaign is subject to a cap of 12,500 in PPS Value.
  7. The total number of Elite Miles accruable by each Elite Gold Member under this Campaign is subject to a cap of 20,000 Elite Miles.
  8. The total number of Elite Miles accruable by each Elite Silver Member under this Campaign is subject to a cap of 10,000 Elite Miles.
  9. The conversion of Bank Points is subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the participating bank. A participating KrisFlyer member will be responsible for any fees related to the conversion of Bank Points to KrisFlyer miles.
  10. Elite Miles accrued from this Campaign will not count towards the attainment of Elite Gold Rewards.
  11. PPS Value accrued from this Campaign will accrue PPS Rewards should members achieve the various PPS Rewards thresholds with their current PPS Value.
  12. Should there be refunds of any transaction that result in the accrual of Elite Miles/PPS Value made under this Campaign, SIA will reverse the crediting of the Elite Miles/PPS Value awarded in respect of that refunded transaction.
  13. PPS Value will be credited under this Campaign according to Table 1 (below), based on each member’s PPS end date as of 8 September 2020. All PPS Value will be credited in your KrisFlyer account. Elite Miles will be credited under this Campaign according to Table 2 (below), based on each member’s Elite Qualification end date as of 8 September 2020.

  16. All decisions made by SIA in respect to any matter relating to this Campaign shall be final. SIA reserves the right to vary these T&Cs, terminate or otherwise amend this Campaign without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion. SIA reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participating KrisFlyer members.
  17. All PPS Value and Elite Miles awarded under this Campaign will be subject to the KrisFlyer Terms & Conditions at (https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_krisflyer/termsconditions-kf/).
  18. By participating in the Campaign, each participant agrees that any and all personal data he/she submits (including his/her name, KrisFlyer membership number, and email address) may be collected, used, disclosed, or otherwise processed (collectively, “Processed”) by SIA. All collection, use and disclosure of participant’s personal data will be in accordance with SIA’s Privacy Policy (available online at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/privacy-policy/).
  19. SIA will not be responsible for any consequences that any participant may suffer (including without limitation any damage, loss, injury or disappointment), or that results in an infringement of any law or regulation, by participating in this Campaign.
  20. By participating in this Campaign, each participant agrees to comply with and be bound by these T&Cs, and conditions of carriage, SIA’s Privacy Policy and KrisFlyer Terms and Conditions (available online at https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_krisflyer/termsconditions-kf/) (collectively, "SIA Terms & Conditions").
