Who can purchase Singapore Airlines Travel Insurance by Allianz Partners?

To be eligible for cover under the Singapore Airlines Travel Insurance products, you must be a UK resident and aged up to 80 years. 

How can I purchase Singapore Airlines Travel Insurance by Allianz Partners?

Allianz Partners Travel Insurance is only available on singaporeair.com. Travel insurance may be included while booking your flight on singaporeair.com or added via Manage Booking.

When does my Singapore Airlines Travel Insurance coverage begin and end?

For all policies, cancellation coverage begins on the date your policy is issued. Cover for all other sections begins when you leave your home or place of departure to start your trip and ends when you return home or until the end of the period of insurance shown as the return date on the policy certificate, whichever is sooner.

Can I add travel insurance to my booking if I have a pre-existing medical condition?

You can still add travel insurance to your itinerary if you have a pre-existing condition however we are unable to cover pre-existing medical conditions. You may be able to obtain an alternative travel insurance policy by contacting Money Advice Service directory of specialist travel insurance providers for people with serious medical conditions. Does the Allianz Partners Travel Insurance cover Scoot flights?

The policy covers any overseas trip undertaken on a flight operated by Singapore Airlines, Scoot or their code share partners if you purchased the ticket from Singapore Airlines or through an authorized agent of Singapore Airlines.

Does the Allianz Partners Travel Insurance policy include any age limit or restriction?

The policy carries and age limit of 80 years.

What should I do if I did not receive the confirmation email?

If you did not receive your confirmation email, you should contact our customer services team by calling 0208 603 9653 from Monday to Friday between 09.00 and 17.00 or email to internet.queries@allianz.com.

I have updated my Singapore Airlines flight booking. How can I change the details of my Allianz Partners Travel Insurance policy?

Please do not forget to contact us to make the corresponding changes to your travel insurance policy. You should contact our Customer Services team by calling 0208 603 9653 from Monday to Friday between 9.00 and 17.00 or email to internet.queries@allianz.com.

Can I cancel my Singapore Airlines Travel Insurance by Allianz Partners and receive a refund?

You may cancel your policy with to us within 14 days of purchasing, provided that no claim has arisen and your travel has not commenced. Allianz Partners will cancel the policy and give you a full refund of premium.

After 14 days, we will not refund any part of the premium. You can send us an email at internet.queries@allianz.com or telephone our Customer Services team at 0208 603 9653 from Monday to Friday between 9.00 and 17.00.

What should I do if I get sick or encounter an accident abroad?

Please call our 24-hour emergency assistance number +44 (0)20 8686 1666 if you need medical assistance while travelling. This service is provided by Allianz Partners own emergency assistance centre.


If you require hospital treatment, please ensure that you keep original copies of your receipts as these will be required to support your claims
