Stay connected when you're on board
Most of the aircraft in the Singapore Airlines fleet today are WiFi-enabled, making it easy for you to stay in touch with loved ones. Plus, if you’re travelling on Suites, First Class, Business Class, or belong to our PPS Club or KrisFlyer member programme, you would be eligible for complimentary WiFi on board selected aircraft.

Alternatively, you can choose to text or access the internet on board via data roaming.

The convenience of inflight connectivity is offered on all our aircraft except for Boeing 737-800 NG.

Complimentary WiFi

Complimentary WiFi is offered to passengers travelling in Suites, First Class, Business Class, PPS Club members, supplementary cardholders and KrisFlyer members. If you are a KrisFlyer or PPS Club member travelling on Suites, First Class or Business Class, your complimentary WiFi allowance will be based on your class of travel.

Here’s how you can enjoy your Complimentary WiFi:

1. Add membership details

Enter your PPS Club or KrisFlyer details when you book your flight, via Manage Booking, at the airport check-in kiosk, or check-in counter.

When you’re at cruising altitude on board a WiFi-enabled aircraft, connect to the ‘KrisWorld’ WiFi network on your device while in flight mode.

Visit www.singaporeair-krisworld.com on your browser, select ‘Complimentary Access’ and fill out the details.


WiFi plans

To enjoy data on board our WiFi-enabled aircraft, purchase a plan that fits your needs. We offer three different plans, depending on whether you wish to chat, surf, or work.

Do note that a purchased WiFi plan is only valid on the flight sector on which the purchase was made. For example, a price plan purchased on SQ12 from Singapore to Tokyo (Narita) cannot be used on the next sector of the same flight from Tokyo (Narita) to Los Angeles.

Optimising your WiFi usage
Here are some tips to help you make the most of your WiFi data on board:
  • Enable low data/power mode
  • Avoid bandwidth-intensive activities
  • Disable media auto-download
  • Pause WiFi session if device is left idle
Do note that your Inflight WiFi experience may vary, depending on the number of users, satellite coverage, weather conditions, and regulatory approvals.

Inflight Texting (SMS) and Data Roaming

Once you’re at cruising altitude on board a WiFi-enabled aircraft, you can connect to the internet via your mobile phone network if your operator has a roaming agreement with Aeromobile or OnAir.

Do note that charges will apply when you’re using mobile data roaming. These charges are determined by your mobile operator, and will be reflected in your mobile phone bill.

Here’s how you can use mobile data roaming on board:

Turn off flight mode, enable roaming, and connect to the ‘Aeromobile’ or ‘OnAir’mobile network.

2. Wait for an SMS

You’ll receive a welcome message to notify you that mobile services are available.

You can now send and receive text messages, emails, and browse the internet on your device.

If you are a M1, Singtel, or Starhub mobile customer, you can enjoy unlimited data roaming with AeroMobile and OnAir at the following promotional rates:
