Advisory on Singapore Airlines flights impacted by Cyclone Fengal
Due to the closure of Chennai International Airport in Chennai, India, as a result of Cyclone Fengal, the following Singapore Airlines (SIA) flights departing to/from Chennai, India will be cancelled:
- SQ528 departing Singapore for Chennai on 30 November 2024 at 2035hrs
- SQ529 departing Chennai for Singapore on 30 November 2024 at 2325hrs

SIA will be contacting all affected customers to inform them of the flight cancellations.
Affected customers will be reaccommodated on alternative flights, or can seek a full refund of the unused portion of their ticket. SIA customers who booked directly with us may use our Assistance Request Form to seek the refund. For bookings made through travel agents or partner airlines, customers are advised to contact their travel agent or purchasing airline directly for assistance.
As the situation remains fluid, other SIA flights between Singapore and India may be affected due to Cyclone Fengal. Customers may visit our Flight Status page for the latest information on their flights.
Customers are also strongly advised to update their contact details via the ‘Manage Booking’ function on our website or subscribe to a mobile notification service to receive updates to their flight status.
