How to request for seats and meals?
Find out how to request for your favourite seats and meals before you fly.
If you are travelling in Suites, First Class or Business Class, you can request for a specific seat any time from the time of booking. If you are travelling in Economy Class, you can also request for a specific seat if you have purchased your ticket through our website.
If you purchase the ticket for your infant through our website, we will assign you a seat at a bassinet point, depending on availability.
We will do our best to meet your seat request. However, we may occasionally need to reassign seats, due to operational constraints and rescheduling. We appreciate your understanding in these special circumstances.
You can enjoy a variety of dining options, including special dietary and religious meals. If you are travelling in Suites, First Class or Business Class, our exclusive Book the Cook service allows you to order your main course in advance. If you would like to make a meal request, go to the "Plan and Book" page to retrieve your booking details.
If you have special dietary requirements due to medical or religious reasons, we offer a wide selection of special meals to meet your needs. You can make a special request through our website if you purchased your ticket online. If you made your booking through your local Singapore Airlines office or travel agent, please request for the special meal through the office or travel agent at least 24 hours before flight departure.
You can order in advance a gourmet main course from an extensive selection of fine a-la-carte dishes. With a wide menu selection for flights departing from Singapore and 13 other airports, there will definitely be something for you. Please make your request at least 24 hours before flight departure.
Young passengers (from 2 to 11 years of age) travelling in Suites, First Class or Business Class can select their main course from our exclusive inflight Yummy! meal service. Please make the request at least 24 hours before flight departure.
Passengers with nut allergy
Passengers who have a nut-allergy could request for nut-free special meal to be catered on his or her flight. The nut-free special meal does not contain peanuts, tree nuts - Almonds, Brazil nuts, Cashew nuts, Hazelnuts, Macadamias, Pecans, Pistachios and Walnuts, and their derivatives.
We are unable to guarantee a nut-free in-flight environment. Firstly, nuts and nut-derivatives are commonly used in the preparation or manufacturing of inflight meals world-wide (except for Nut-Free Special Meal). Secondly, we are also unable to prevent passengers from bringing and consuming their own nut-products on-board our flights.
Should you require a nut-free special meal, please contact your travel agent or the Singapore Airlines office to arrange for a nut-free special meal at least 48 hours before flight departure.
Once again, we request that you take all necessary precautions bearing in mind the risk of exposure. If you have any concerns about your fitness to travel, we recommend that you discuss your travel plans with your doctor.
Lastly, due to the heightened security environment, passengers should obtain a doctor’s certification for their medication or syringe. All medication should be professionally labelled with passenger’s name and clearly identified to eliminate any difficulties passing through security check-points.
