KrisFlyer Miles Can Now Be Donated to Make-A-Wish Singapore

08 February 2017  (Joint Release with Make-A-Wish Singapore) - KrisFlyer has partnered with Make-A-Wish Singapore to enable members of the frequent-flyer programme to donate miles to the charity, to facilitate the granting of wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

From today, for a 12-month period during Singapore Airlines’ 70th Anniversary year, KrisFlyer members can log in to krisflyer.com to donate miles to Make-A-Wish Singapore. Miles will go towards supporting flights on Singapore Airlines and subsidiary SilkAir for wishes of Make-A-Wish Singapore beneficiaries that involve overseas travel.

“Our KrisFlyer members told us that they want more options to use their miles, including to use their miles for meaningful causes. We are excited to work with Make-A-Wish Singapore to enable KrisFlyer members to help more Wish Children realise their wishes,” said Singapore Airlines Senior Vice President Marketing Planning, Mr Tan Kai Ping.

Added Make-A-Wish Singapore CEO, Ms Judy Lim: “Make-A-Wish is privileged to receive the support of Singapore Airlines’ customers through the donation of KrisFlyer miles. This will help us grant wishes that involve travelling. As wishes that comprise air travel can be a substantial expenditure for us, we appreciate this contribution which will help us to deliver quality wishes for children battling critical illnesses.”
