At Singapore Airlines, we value our employees' dedication and hard work. Our comprehensive range of benefits is designed to enhance your lifestyle and support your well-being, making your career with us even more rewarding.
With our job rotation scheme, you can look forward to job postings within your field of specialisation or across functional areas. After some years of experience, you may also apply, if you are so inclined, to work overseas under the Trainee Station Manager or the Overseas Manager Scheme.
As one of the Airline's General Managers overseas, for example, you will be responsible for all aspects of our business interests at the overseas office, including human resources, management, finance, government relations, sales and marketing.
You will enjoy the opportunity to explore global destinations with once-a-year free travel on any SIA-operated routes. You and your eligible family member(s) will also have access to unlimited discounted travel on SIA, our subsidiary, and our airline partners, making your journeys affordable and worthwhile.
We support the health and well-being of our people through medical, dental, and insurance coverage, ensuring you have access to quality care when you need it.
We foster an environment that nurtures both personal and professional growth through a range of wellness initiatives:
To ensure that you get the rest and support you need, our paid time off includes national public holidays, sick leave, childcare leave, and marriage leave.
Give back to the community and utilise our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Day when volunteering in corporate or personal volunteering activities.
Your life outside of work is important to us too, as we believe in fostering work-life harmony. Depending on your role, you may enjoy a hybrid working schedule.
We encourage staff to help make a difference in the communities that they serve. In the lead-up to Singapore's 50th birthday in August 2015, the Airline organised a series of fund-raising events including the SIA Charity Gala Dinner and SIA Charity Run.
With the support of about 500 staff volunteers, a total of $2.5 million was raised for the Community Chest of Singapore, a non-profit organisation that raises funds for many charities in Singapore. This was matched dollar-for-dollar by the Singapore Government, lifiting total funds raised to about $5 million.
More than 300 Community Chest Beneficiaries, many of whom had never flown before, were also treated to a special flight on the Airbus A380, the world's largest commercial aircraft.
In July 2015, the Airline also opened the doors of its training centre to the public for the first time for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how its pilots and cabin crew are trained. All proceeds earned from the SIA Open House activities were donated to the Community Chest of Singapore.
Here at Singapore Airlines, we celebrate the achievements of our people. Our internal awards recognise the exceptional people who drive our success.
We go beyond recognising your efforts. We celebrate you.
