The Singapore Airlines Student Registered Customer Prize Giveaway 2024 (“Promotion”) and prize (“Prize”) form part of these terms and conditions. By entering the Competition, participants (“Participants”) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The decision of Singapore Airlines (“the Promoter”), who has a registered address at Level 19, 205 Queen Street, Auckland 1010 New Zealand, is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Promotion Summary
1.1 The Promotion allows the participants to win a Singapore Airlines prize pack. The competition closes on the 11 November 2024.
1.2 Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
How to Enter
2.1 The Promotion Period begins on 8 July 2024 and ends on 11 November 2024 at 11:59pm.
2.2 Participants can enter this competition by completing the online Sign Up registration form on our website.
2.3 Participants will be entered into a lucky prize draw, which will be drawn on/after 11 November 2024.
2.4 Employees of Singapore Airlines, and associated sponsor(s) and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
2.5 Prize Winner(s) must be at least 18 years of age in order to be eligible for the prize. Participants must have a vaild New Zealand address for the prize to be delivered.
The Prize
3.1. The Winner(s) will be decided by lucky drawn on/after 11 November 2024. The Promoters determination of the Winner(s) will be final, and no correspondence will be entered in to.
3.2. The Winner(s) will be advised and confirmed by email, and this may be announced through eNewsletter to participants. The Winner(s) must reply to the email within 3 working days to confirm their acceptance of the prize. If no correspondence is received after 3 working days, Singapore Airlines reserves the right to draw another prizewinner.
3.3. The prize pack consists of:
(a) 1 x Singapore Airlines X Saben Luggage Tag, 1 x Singapore Airlines X Husly Wine Cooler, 2 x Singapore Airlines X Amberjack Candles, and 1 x $50 Warehouse Stationery Voucher.
Specific Rules
4.1. The Winner(s) must be 18 years or older to recieve the prize.
4.2. The Prize is not transferable or exchangable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Prize must be taken as stated in these Terms and Conditions and no compensation will be payable if the Winner(s) is unable to use the Prize as stated. For the avoidance of doubt, if the Winner(s) is, for whatever reason, unable to consume or ustilise a portion or the entirety of the prize, then the Promoter is not required to replace or compenstate the Winner(s) in any way or form.
4.3. The Promoter will package the Prize to be couriered to the Winner(s) to the best of their ability, but will not be eglible for any damages occured by the courier company while the Prize is in their possession or any damages caused by the Winner(s) once the Prize is in their possession.
Winning the Prize
5.1. The Winner(s) must be available for the preparation of all publicity that may be required by Singapore Airlines.
5.2. The Winner(s) accepts the Prize entirely at his/her own risk and indemnifies Singapore Airlines in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, property damage or loss of life that may occur in connection with the Prize.
5.3. The Promoter makes no representation as to safety, conditions and other issues that may exist at any destination.
5.4. The Winner(s) must sign a legal release, in a form acceptable to the Promoter in its absolute discretion, if requested by the Promoter.
Privacy and Privacy Policy
6.1. By participating, entrants grant Singapore Airlines exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, videos, voices and likeness in connection with the Promotion and for future promotion and marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
6.2. All participants personal details must be valid and up to date and will be held by Singapore Airlines, subject to each entities privacy policy and may be used for the purpose of the Promotion and for future promotion and marketing purposes.
6.3. Personal information provided at the time of entry is presumed to be true and, in the case of text or email notification – active, through to and beyond the date of the Promotion’s completion.
6.4. The Promoter will comply with its obligations under the Privacy Act 1993.
6.5. The Participant agrees that the Promoter may collect, use and disclose the participant’s name, details and personal data (including photographs, audiovisual and other recordings) for the following purposes: to communicate with the Participant for the purposes related to the Competition, to provide goods and services to the Participant upon request, to send KrisFlyer e-newsletters and messages relating to KrisFlyer news, products and services, for publicity (whether to promote the Competition or otherwise) and for other matters for which the Participant has provided the Promoter with consent, without further notification, remuneration or compensation.
General
7.1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, vary, extend or discontinue a Promotion at any stage, for any reason.
7.2. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any inability to enter, complete, continue or conclude the Promotion due to equipment or technical malfunction, busy lines, misspelt email address, Acts of God or otherwise.
7.3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Singapore Airlines will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of Promotion entry or winning their Prize.
Miscellaneous
8.1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who breaches any of these terms and conditions, acts in a fraudulent, dishonest or disruptive manner, or otherwise than in accordance with the spirit and intent of this Competition or is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Competition.
8.2. By entering this Competition or accepting a Prize, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Participant(s) agree to indemnify, release and hold harmless each of the Promoter, its related companies, its parent company, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and representatives against any and all liability, losses, demands, claims, actions, damages (including special, indirect and consequential damages), costs and expenses arising from or incurred, directly or indirectly, as a result of the Participant’s entry into the Competition and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part.
8.3. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, either wholly or in part, including the right to cancel this Competition, in such manner as it deems fit, without prior notice or reason, and without liability to such Participant(s) or Prizewinner(s).
8.4. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Competition, these terms and conditions, and all its subsequent variations, shall prevail
