1. This Singapore Airlines BCA Travel Fair August 2024 Social Media Contest promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by Singapore Airlines Limited (“SIA”).
2. The Promotion will be carried out on Singapore Airlines Indonesia’s Instagram page at @singaporeairid and entry is open to:
(a) all Indonesian citizens;
(b) aged 18 years and above; and
(c) who have submitted a Qualifying Entry (as defined below) during the promotion period from 6 August 2024 (00.00 WIB) to 25 August 2024 (23.59 WIB) (“Promotion Period”).
3. To be considered as qualifying content for the Promotion (“Qualifying Entry”), entries must meet the following conditions:
(a) the participant must be an Indonesian citizen AND registered as a KrisFlyer member during the Promotion Period;
(b) to participate, the participants are required to use original audio in reels content by checking pinned posts @singaporeairid, then share their photos/videos of holiday moments together with their loved ones;
(c) the participant must also follow and mention @singaporeairid on Instagram and have their personal Instagram account(s) set to public;
(d) in the caption, participants must share their next dream destination and include what they will do with the KrisFlyer miles if they are one of the winners; participants must also use the hashtags #SQBCATravelFair #LiburanBersamaSQarangAja and tag 3 friends to take part;
(e) the participant must like SIA’s Contest post and after posting, they must comment ‘done’ on the comment column on the SIA’s Contest post;
(f) the entry must be posted during the Promotion Period. All Qualifying Entries must be received by SIA during the Promotion Period, and any entries received after the end of the Promotion Period are automatically disqualified.
4. Ten (10) winners (“Winner”) shall be determined based on the most attractive, unique, and creative submissions received. Each Winner shall receive a “Prize” as set out below:
(a) 1st winner: 100,000 KrisFlyer miles
(b) 2nd winner: 70,000 KrisFlyer miles
(c) 3rd winner: 30,000 KrisFlyer miles
(d) 4th – 10th winner(s): Each winner receives 1 travel fair merchandise package from Singapore Airlines.
5. SIA will notify the Winner(s) by 13 September 2024 (“Announcement Date”) via a direct message to each Winner’s Instagram account with information on how to claim the Prize. SIA will endeavor to announce the Winners on the Announcement Date and at the date, time, and place advertised and in the way advertised, but SIA reserves the right to announce the Winners in such manner as it deems appropriate in its absolute discretion. SIA reserves the right to cancel, terminate, suspend or change this Promotion in its absolute discretion without notice and/or liability to any party.
6. The Winner is required to return a signed letter of acceptance in accordance with the instructions provided by SIA within ten (10) calendar days, together with all details that may reasonably be required by SIA for the issuance of the Prize to the Winner (including without limitation their full name as reflected in their identity card, contact number, email address and mailing address). If the signed letter of acceptance is not received by SIA by 23 September 2024 the Prize will be forfeited.
7. SIA reserves the right to verify participants eligibility, exclude or disqualify any person from the Promotion on the grounds of (a) inappropriate behavior or criminal record or acting or intending to act dishonestly or deceptively or in bad faith; (b) manipulating the registration process or the operation of the Promotion; (c) acting in breach of these Terms and Conditions; (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass others; (e) submissions which are offensive, inappropriate, unwelcome or contrary to the ethos and principles of SIA or which may be considered derogatory; or (f) death; (g) for such other reasons as it may deem reasonable and appropriate.
8. The name of the Winners will be posted on the SIA Indonesia’s Instagram page @singaporeairid on 13 September 2024, where legally permitted.
9. By accepting the Prize, each participant agrees to grant Singapore Airlines an exclusive, transferrable, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide and royalty-free license to publish, repost and/or use their Qualifying Entry in any manner and for any purpose Singapore Airlines deems fit, without any further notification, remuneration and/or compensation to any participant. To avoid any doubt, this Clause shall continue to apply after the expiration or termination of these Terms and Conditions.
10. SIA will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
11. By participating in the Promotion, each participant agrees:
(a) to comply with these terms and conditions of the Promotion;
(b) to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions, SIA’s conditions of use of website and SIA’s Privacy Policy, (collectively, “SIA Terms & Conditions”).
(c) that any and all personal data he/she submits (including his/her name, KrisFlyer membership number, electronic ticket number, contact number and email address]) may be collected, used, disclosed, or otherwise processed (collectively, “Processed”) by SIA for the purposes of the Promotion and the Prize, including to communicate with the Winner on collection of the Prize. All collection, use and disclosure of participant’s personal data will be in accordance with SIA’s Privacy Policy (available online at http://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/privacy-policy/).
(d) Non-compliance with or breach of any of these terms as set out in this clause may result in the participant being disqualified at any stage of the Promotion, and any prizes won may be forfeited, withheld, withdrawn or reclaimed.
12. All decisions made by SIA, in respect to any matter relating to this Promotion, including without limitation, the choice of the Winner, shall be final. SIA reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions, terminate or otherwise amend this Promotion without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion.
13. SIA reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participants. The demise of a participant automatically disqualifies his/her entry.
14. Employees of SIA, Scoot, KrisShop, their immediate families, affiliates, subsidiaries, related agencies, principal sponsors and suppliers associated with this campaign are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. Corporations and other artificial persons are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
15. The Prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash and shall not be transferred to another individual.
16. To the extent permitted under applicable law, SIA will not be responsible or liable for any consequences that any participant may suffer (including without limitation any damage, loss, injury or disappointment) by participating in the Promotion, or the participant’s acceptance of any prize, or as a result of any Prize that is late, lost, damaged or misdirected in transit.
17. Unless otherwise specified, SIA is not responsible for and will not bear any and all expenses and ancillary costs which may be incurred in the participation in the Promotion and/or with the use or redemption of the Prize.
18. To the extent permissible by law, SIA will not be responsible for any Loss (including lost profits or any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive loss or damage), however caused (including through SIA's negligence), suffered or incurred by a participant arising out of or in connection with:
(a) the participant’s access to, or use of, the Site, any materials, or any linked sites, including but not limited to, the participant’s participation in the Promotion;
(b) any decision or action taken by a participant in reliance on advertising and/or promotional materials relating to the Promotion; and/or;
(c) any error or defect in the Site;
The exclusion statement above does not attempt or aim to exclude liability under any law if, and to the extent that, such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. The Winner is responsible for all applicable taxes (including but not limited to, federal, state, local and/or income) on the Prize as well as any additional expenses including hotel stay, visa cost etc. (if any) that may be incurred by the participant(s) upon receiving the Prize.

21. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Indonesian courts. A person who is not a party to these terms shall have no right to enforce any of these terms.
22. Data Protection
22.1 By entering into this Promotion, the participant(s) consent to let SIA use their personal information for the purposes of this Promotion and, if in the case of Winner(s), the participant(s) agree for SIA to notify such Winner(s) re the delivery of the Prize.
22.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIA shall have no liability directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with any loss, theft, unauthorized access, collection use, disclosure, copy, modification, or other action relating to any personal data held by SIA.
22.3 By participating in the Promotion, the participants also consent and agree, without further compensation to them:
(a) to participate in such activities as may be organised by SIA in relation to the Promotion; and
(b) to grant SIA, the consent to the use of the participants’ name, image, voice and/or likeness by SIA for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing, publicity and/or other purposes, to the extent permitted by law, and that all intellectual property rights in any photograph or video or other recording taken or made in connection with the Promotion, belong solely and absolutely to SIA. If any participant does not agree to such use, he/she may be disqualified from participating in the Promotion.
23. Instagram
23.1 The participants hereby release Instagram from all and any actions, claims, rights, demands whether in this jurisdiction or any other, whether or not presently known to the parties or to the law, whether in law or equity, that the participants may have against Instagram relating to, arising out of or in connection with this Promotion.
23.2 The participants hereby acknowledge that this Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram.
24. General
24.1 SIA reserves the right to exclude any participant from participating in this Promotion if it has reason to believe that such participant has breached any of the terms and conditions.
24.2 SIA reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize and/or the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
24.3 SIA is not responsible for any accidents or injuries caused by negligent and dangerous conduct arising out of or in connection with this contest.
24.4 SIA will not be liable for any delay or failure to fulfill our obligations about the Promotion and in these Terms and Conditions if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond SIA's reasonable control.
24.5 All copyrights in the Promotion materials in these Terms and Conditions (including, but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, sound recordings and software) are owned by SIA in its individual capacity and its licensees. Any Promotion Materials obtained from third parties may be the subject of copyrights owned by such third parties. Except with expressly granted permission, and subject to the conditions set out under The Copyright Act or except as expressly permitted by these Terms and Conditions or as reasonably anticipated by normal use of the Promotion materials, participants may not, in any form or by any means:
(a) copy, adapt, reproduce, store, distribute, print, display, perform, publish, publicly communicate, make available to the public, or create derivative works from all or any part of the Promotional materials; or
(b) commercially trade all or any part of the Promotional materials, without the express written permission of the organizer or, in the case of third party Promotional materials, of the copyright owner of those materials.
24.6 Trademarks used on the SIA website are trademarks or registered trademarks of Singapore Airlines Limited. Participants may not use any of SIA's trademarks:
(a) in or as the whole or part of the participant's own trademark;
(b) in connection with a business, product or service that does not belong to SIA;
(c) in a manner that is likely to confuse, mislead or deceive any person; or;
(d) in a manner that disparages SIA, the Promotion materials, and/or the Site
24.7 If SIA waives, in whole or in part, any of the rights available to them in these Terms & Conditions on one occasion, this does not mean that those rights will automatically be waived on any other occasion. If any provision of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, such provision shall be reinterpreted to give it as much force as possible, or if such provision is completely incapable of having any force at all, such provision shall be severed from these Terms & Conditions, in such case, the rest of these Terms & Conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
24.8 In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
