MBS Skyparkdeck
A melting pot of cultures and bustling metropolis

A flight to Singapore takes you to one of Asia's safest and most diverse metropolises, where a fascinating mix of impressive skyscrapers, luxury hotels, temples and mosques, parks and bustling activity await you. In addition to modern skyscrapers and futuristic attractions, the city offers plenty of green quiet zones to relax in after a long flight to Singapore or an eventful day.

Singapur City Bustle

The island state is the smallest state in Southeast Asia in terms of area and is home to around 5.77 million inhabitants. The Lion City is considered a melting pot of Asian cultures from China, Malaysia, Indonesia and India - Asia in miniature. Religious tolerance and an unagitated approach to multicultural affairs make for a relaxed everyday life in Singapore. Every culture has its own district: Chinatown, Little India, Arab Street, Katong, etc. Immerse yourself in a variety of cultures, delicious food and ancient traditions: Visit the temples of Chinatown - like the shrine with sacred relics of Buddha or the Sri Mariamman Temple, the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore with its colourful carvings.

Supertrees Gardens by the bay
"Supertrees" at Gardens by the Bay

The tropical park ''Gardens by the Bay'' is incomparable with its ten different biotopes. It is surrounded by numerous botanical plants and vertical gardens. The concrete-steel constructions, the "Supertrees", which are up to 50 metres high, are impressive not only because of their size, but also shine in an enchanting glow of lights in the evening. They will be among the first impressions you will experience after arriving in Singapore by plane. The garden offers a mixture of nature and art, architecture and botany. Marvel at sculptures by Marc Quinn and fantastically designed greenhouses. Stroll high above the action among the "Supertrees" on the OCBC Skyway. Admission to the open-air gardens is free.

Daily at 19:45 and 20:45 a free light and music show called "Gardens Rhapsody" takes place at Supertree Grove.

Singapore Botanic Gardens
Singapore's Botanic Garden - a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Since 2015, together with the 50th anniversary of the founding of the state, Singapore has been entitled to bear the coveted title of "UNESCO World Heritage Site". As the first cultural monument of the Southeast Asian city state, the Botanic Gardens were awarded the prestigious distinction due to its universal value for humanity. Founded as early as 1859, "Singapore Botanic Gardens" is one of the most important botanical gardens in Asia and an absolute top attraction for nature, flower and plant lovers. For this reason alone, you will get your money's worth with a flight to Singapore. The garden covers a total of 74 hectares and, with its large banyan trees and an orchid garden, invites around 4.2 million visitors a year to take a stroll. This makes it the most visited botanical garden in the world.

Singapore Esplanade
Great Theatre at the Esplanade

Like a large, upturned boat, the Esplanade sits on Singapore Bay. Beneath the gigantic glass shell is Singapore's centre for art and culture - the home of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. The programme on offer is a top-class mixture of music, dance and theatre, film screenings and performances. The whole thing is embedded in changing small art exhibitions, restaurants and shops. And best of all: many of the performances are free of charge for visitors. Even less culturally inclined visitors like to come here - not least thanks to the view of the city and the bay from the planted roof terrace.
