When you book with us, standard government taxes as well as airport and carrier surcharges are already included in your fare. However, some taxes and service fee are charged in addition to the fare you see on our website.
All government authorities impose taxes on air transportation. These taxes are charged at the discretion of each country’s government authority, and may be adjusted from time to time to account for inflation and/or currency fluctuation. Some types of government taxes may not be included in your all-in fare, and must be paid separately from your booking.
A service fee of USD50 (or equivalent in local currency) will be charged when you make reservations & ticketing requests with a Singapore Airlines office or our reservation hotlines.

Band 5: Between Singapore and United States.
Passengers travelling on Economy Class may select seats in Premium Economy cabin at a fee. This is available only on selected flights and routes, subject to availability, and both Premium Economy Standard and Premium Economy Extra Legroom seats may be selected. Passengers who choose this option will be seated on a more comfortable Premium Economy Seat, while their class of service remains Economy and all fare conditions will remain the same as their originally-booked Economy Class fare.
Premium Economy Seat Selection for passengers holding Economy Class tickets is available at the following rates, for selected flights between Singapore and Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Surabaya, Colombo, Dhaka, Maldives and Guangzhou.

If you are flying out of the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium or Netherlands, a non-refundable credit card service fee ranging from 1.0-2.0% with a cap may be added to all bookings made with a credit card. The exact fee will be displayed before you confirm your payment.
You will not be charged a credit card service fee for redemption bookings, bookings made with a European Economic Area issued personal credit card, or if you choose to fully pay for your booking with KrisFlyer miles.

If the billing currency of your credit or debit card is different from the currency charged in your booking, your bank will perform a conversion at their prevailing exchange rate and may charge a conversion fee. Contact your bank for more information.
Whenever you pay for your flight with a credit / debit card, the transaction is processed in the country you’re departing from. So if your credit / debit card is issued in a country that’s different from the departure country, your bank may impose a foreign transaction fee. For more information on this fee, get in touch with your bank.
Payments made through PayPal are processed in Singapore, except for flights departing from Australia. If the credit / debit card linked to your PayPal account was issued outside of Singapore, your bank may impose a foreign transaction fee. If you’re departing from Australia, your PayPal transaction will then be processed in Australia. In this case, your transaction may incur a foreign transaction fee if your PayPal-linked credit / debit was issued outside of Australia.
