8 October 2018 - KrisFlyer, the SIA Group’s frequent flyer programme, is introducing Elite Gold Rewards, a selection of benefits which will give KrisFlyer Elite Gold members additional incentives when they travel with Singapore Airlines and SilkAir.
With effect from 9 October 2018, KrisFlyer Elite Gold members can use their Elite miles earned on SIA and SilkAir flights for the new Elite Gold Rewards. The rewards, which include double KrisFlyer miles, one-class cabin upgrades for short-haul flights and upgrades to Premium Economy Class, will be awarded to members when they reach various levels of spend. A summary of the new rewards is detailed in the table below.

The upgrade will be confirmed at the point of booking, subject to availability. |
| 100,000 | Premium Economy Advance Upgrade KrisFlyer Elite Gold members will receive an advance upgrade voucher, which allows them to apply for an upgrade from Economy to Premium Economy Class at the point of booking. The upgrade will be confirmed at the point of booking, subject to availability. |
