We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual pursuing a career in international aviation to join our Melbourne Agency Sales team.
About the Role
The Account Executive (Agency) is responsible for driving revenue and market share growth for the SIA Group from assigned agency accounts. The role involves creating and executing strategies, account plans and sales interventions, such as marketing campaigns, to improve agency sales performance. The Account Executive uses sales data and levers to drive sales, deploy sales solutions, foster strong relationships with their assigned agencies and ensures they are informed about promotions, pricing and products.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to grow SIA market share & revenue
- Identifying and converting new sales opportunities
- Developing and managing relationships with key trade partners
- Monitoring market trends and reporting on commercial performance
- Representing the Company at seminars, conferences, product launches, trade and public expos
The successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following:
- Current sales experience preferably within an airline and/or travel industry
- Sound commercial acumen with a clear focus on Business Development
- A proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Analytical skills in monitoring market trends and reporting on commercial performance
- Experience in developing and successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to organise, prepare and deliver sales presentations with confidence
- Sound proficiency in using MS Office, Salesforce (or similar) and an ability to quickly learn new systems
- High standards of professional deportment and personal presentation
This is a full-time permanent position. All candidates must be eligible to work in Australia, as evidenced by Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency status. Candidates are also required to hold a valid driver’s license and have their own car. The position base salary starts at A$81,303, and forms part of an overall salary package that includes superannuation, attractive travel benefits and subsidised health insurance.
