Extra check-in baggage allowance
When you and your immediate family members fly on Singapore Airlines or SilkAir, you can check in an extra 30kg in Economy Class, 35kg in Premium Economy Class, 40kg in Business Class and 50kg in First Class or Suites2.
The piece concept applies to and from North and South America. This means you can check in four bags of up to 32kg each in Business Class, First Class and Singapore Airlines Suites. In Premium Economy and Economy Class, you can check in four bags of up to 23kg each to the USA, and 32kg each to Brazil.
You’ll also get extra baggage allowance on Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Australia, Vistara, Star Alliance, and Star Alliance Connecting Partner airlines.

More miles
Enjoy a 25% tier bonus when you fly with Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and Virgin Atlantic. All you have to do is credit the miles to your KrisFlyer account, and not to any other frequent flyer programme.
When you fly in Singapore Airlines Suites, First Class, Business Class or Premium Economy Class, or in Business Class on SilkAir, you’ll receive your booking class bonuses as well as this tier bonus.
Not applicable to an Economy Class ticket in G, K, N, Q or V booking class.
Non-expiry of miles
Now, your KrisFlyer miles will not expire as long as you remain a PPS Club member. That means you’ll enjoy more freedom to decide when and how to use your miles.
Your KrisFlyer miles will be set to expire in 3 years if you are unable to renew your PPS Club membership.
Guaranteed reservation
You’ll always have a seat in Economy Class on Singapore Airlines or SilkAir. Simply make your request with your nearest Singapore Airlines or SilkAir office or hotline, at least 24 hours before your flight, even if you’ve booked through a travel agent or another airline.
Applies to the highest booking (Y booking class) only. Not applicable to award flights, or codeshare flights operated by other airlines. Specific seat selection is not available.
Seat selection privileges
Priority reservation waitlist
If you’re waitlisted on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir or a Star Alliance airline, you’ll be one of the first to get a seat if someone doesn’t make the flight. The same applies to your immediate family members if they’re flying with you.
This benefit does not apply to flights where the waitlist is closed.
Priority airport standby
If you need to fly at the last minute and can’t get a confirmed reservation, you’ll be given priority on airport standby lists for Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, Virgin Atlantic, Star Alliance, and Star Alliance Connecting Partner* airline flights.
Not applicable to award tickets and flight upgrades.
* Only applicable if your itinerary includes a transfer to/from a Star Alliance Connecting Partner and Star Alliance airlines.
Priority airport check-in
When you fly in Premium Economy or Economy Class, you’ll continue to enjoy priority service at these check-in counters. The same applies to your immediate family members if they’re flying with you.

You’ll be invited to board the plane before other passengers, even when you travel in Premium Economy or Economy Class.

You will be given priority to Saver Awards flight availability.
