Graduates
Graduates may join Singapore Airlines as an Administrative Officer (AO) or a Trainee Station Manager.

SIA Executives Programme (previously Administrative Officer – Generalist)

AOs are part of the top 10% of the workforce in Singapore Airlines. You may join the scheme as a Generalist or Specialist.

As a Generalist AO, you may be posted to various divisions such as Corporate Planning, Flight operations,  Human Resources, Marketing Planning, Product & Services, Sales & Marketing, International Relations and Safety and Security among others. Regardless of where you may be posted, you will be in the thick of the airline industry, working with teams on business projects, analysing, reviewing, planning, innovating and implementing policies. You can look forward to job rotation, which will allow you to experience the diverse functional job areas and the unique business of Singapore Airlines.

You may join us as a Specialist AO if you have professional qualifications or skills, performing the duties of an Accountant, Internal Auditor, Legal Counsel, or Technical Services Engineer.

Trainee Station Manager
Station Managers manage all aspects of the Airline's operations at airports overseas, including customer service, baggage and cargo handling, inflight catering, ground safety regulations, and airport emergency plans. Trainee Station Managers undergo a comprehensive nine-month training programme, and upon graduation, are posted as Station Managers in one of our many overseas stations.

  • Cabin Crew

    This is the largest division in Singapore Airlines, with more than 7,000 cabin crew. As one of our ground staff, you will effectively manage this large crew base, keeping them motivated and committed to providing the best inflight service possible.

  • Corporate Planning

    This division manages relations with a variety of stakeholders, such as governments, air transport authorities, the community, and the media, among others. Other key functions include consulting on risk management and governance practices, providing legal advice and services, ensuring that Company affairs are conducted in compliance with statutory requirements.

    You will also manage the fleet and fuel requirements of the company, monitor the company's performance relative to industry benchmarks, evaluate various investment opportunities.

  • Engineering

    You will be engaged in various challenging aircraft projects to deliver timely, cost effective and quality maintenance and acquisition of Singapore Airlines' new and existing aircrafts. To offer our customers the best products and services, you will be part of a team which supports the evaluation and acquisition of new aircraft types, and handles operational contingencies to ensure service continuity.

    You will gain exposure to various areas in finance, such as monitoring corporate accounts and projects, both locally and at Singapore Airlines' overseas stations. Among other key functions, you will also be responsible for cost effective procurement and distribution of quality commercial products and services. You will learn to maximize total returns on cash resources, as well as to provide guidance and advice on risk processes to our Business Units.

    You will manage our pool of over 2,000 technical crew (i.e. pilots) in the following areas: training and development, providing technical support for safe and efficient operations, liaising with international organisations and civil authorities on technical or operational matters, among others.

    You will play a vital role in developing human capital for the world's leading airline, and conceptualising talent management strategies and policies. You will gain exposure to diverse areas of human resources, such as industrial relations, employee communications and HR systems, among other areas.

  • Information Technology

    You will manage the implementation of IT projects in various business areas for the airline by working closely with business users to articulate and define business requirements, perform user acceptance tests and ensure that change management and user training are in place for all new implementations. You will also drive business process design change and solution improvements to processes and provide operational support to existing IT systems in its day-to-day operations.

  • Marketing & Singapore Sales

    You will gain exposure to different areas of marketing, such as increasing passenger loyalty for Singapore Airlines through managing various reward programmes, identifying and pursuing global strategic partnerships, managing worldwide seat inventory, and developing Singapore Airlines' worldwide marketing and commercial communications strategies.

    Your role will be to deliver and support a consistently high standard of customer service across the entire Singapore Airlines network.     This division formulates policies and procedures involving safety, security and the environment. You will be involved in evaluating various aspects of ground and flight operations, to ensure that we have a safety and security record second to none.
